A Little About Me

Beverlin Hill is an American multidisciplinary artist. Specializing in figurative arts, she is largely a self-taught portrait artist. She began her career in 2023 after being forced to retire due to Meige Syndrome, a rare and debilitating neurological disorder. She found that her practice of art relieved her neurological symptoms. Her art provides her with a mechanism for self-expression as well as physical therapy. She plans to share her experience with others suffering from disabilities.
Hill has already been included in a juried group exhibition, Oakland Community College Student Art Exhibition 2024.
Hill, originally from Detroit, Michigan, has attended Oakland Community College and earned a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University. She currently resides and works in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
